W-P boys track team places seventh at SVSU meet

UNIVERSITY CENTER - The Whittemore-Prescott boy’s track team traveled to Saginaw Valley State University on Friday for a pre-season competition and placed seventh out of 17 teams.

Placing first for the Cardinals was Billy Raushi in the high jump. Raushi also finished first in the 800-meter relay with Chris Downes, Matt Ackerman and Sean Siegrist.
Kane Dietzel finished second in shot put, while Raushi took third in the long jump. Siegrist also finished fifth in the 400-meter run.
