OSCODA –Staff at the Robert J. Parks Library encourage local children to dress up in costumes and come out to the library this Friday at 5:15-6:15 p.m., or as long as supplies last.

According to Head Librarian Robin Savage, cars will be asked to pull up to the library in their vehicle to receive a Halloween goodie bag.

“It’ll be a drive-thru type of thing where nobody actually has to be in direct contact with one another, but they can still get out and have a good time,” said Savage.

She said that due to the pandemic she knows many won’t be trick-or treating, so she wanted to be able to offer the community a little bit of something.

Additionally, the library will also have a Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) activity available starting on Oct. 26-30. Locals can pick up the activity at the library located at 6010 N Skeel Ave, Oscoda.
