OSCODA – Ray Ray’s Pike Town USA 7th Annual Fishing Tournament will take place this Saturday with registration at 7 a.m.
The annual event is designed to financially support local families suffering from cancer. The event was created to honor Ray Eberhardt who passed away from multiple myeloma cancer in January of 2014 and loved pike fishing.
At the event, participants will be able to fish (with or without ice) until the 3 p.m. weigh-in. During that time, they can purchase tickets to drop into a variety of prizes during the Chinese raffle. All funds collected from the Chinese raffle will be divided to support the few local families Rick and others have decided to support this year.
The entry fee is $10 to participate and the summation of those funds will be divided in two and presented to the winners who catch the largest pike and perch by the weigh-in. For more information or to register for the tournament contact Rick at 329-2962.
