TAWAS CITY – Tawas Area High School Drama Club will present a live performance in the high school commons.
The play, Virgil’s Wedding, is about a high-end wedding planner and her assistant who are hired to direct a simple ceremony for two of Lickskillet’s favorite lovebirds; however, it becomes a coordinator’s nightmare due to many mixed-up people and scenarios.
Show dates are Friday, March 19 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 20 at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 21 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the high school. Because of limited seating, advanced tickets are recommended.
Last year the same play was scheduled, but the COVID-19 shutdown only permitted half of a performance. This year’s show promises to be just as funny, but with limitations.
“The cast is truly talented and energetic despite the fact that face coverings are required,” stated student director, Paul Koning. “We all still have confidence that the audience will enjoy the comedy.”
In addition to Koning as the student director, Barb Hunter is the director and co-producers are Jolene Grusecki and Stacy Perrot.
Presented by special arrangements with Heuer Publishing.
