EAST TAWAS – Tawas Bay Art Gallery in East Tawas has scheduled classes during October.

The classes include:

• Oct. 17: Children’s Drop-in Class, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children will create a beautiful fall tree landscape with sponges. Cost is $5, and all materials are included.  Families need to sign up for time slots.

• Oct. 20 and 22: Brush by the Bay, attendees will paint a fall scene with a scarecrow in a corn field.  The Oct. 20 class will be from 6 to 9 p.m. The Oct. 22 class will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Cost is $40, all materials are included and   Judy Howe will be the instructor.

• Oct. 21 and 22: A two-part class, birch trees on a textured background. Both classes will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Cost is $40 and Betty Fahselt will be the instructor.

• Oct. 24: Children’s Drop-in Class, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children will paint a spooky landscape on a canvas board with ghosts. Cost is $7, all materials are included.  Families need to sign up for time slots.

• Oct. 28:  Birch Trees on Black, from 6 to 9 p.m. Students will work with pouring and string. Cost is $40. Carol Kubiak will be the instructor.

• Oct. 29: Create a Wood Sign, 6 to 8 p.m. Learn how to create unique wood signs with different sayings and artwork. Cost is $35. Jan Dumas will be the instructor.
