GRANT Twp. – Alexander Harold Schilling, 7, Sterling, sustained non-incapacitating injuries during an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash at 8 a.m. on Saturday, according to the Michigan State Police (MSP).

PLAINFIELD Twp. – Iosco County Sheriff’s Office (ICSO)  Deputy Matthew Klosowski was dispatched to a rollover vehicle crash in Plainfield Township, near Curtis and Putnam roads, on the morning of May 27.

PLAINFIELD Twp. – John David Langdon, 55, of Naples, Fla., and Jennifer Georgia Pousak, 48, Whittemore, each sustained incapacitating injuries during a motorcycle crash in Plainfield Township on May 29.

HALE – Raymond Dean Sundberg, 28, and Jennifer Nicole Effrick, 37, both of South Branch, each face one felony count of the attempted breaking-and-entering of a building with intent. If convicted as charged, they could face up to five years in prison.

OSCODA – The Oscoda Township Police Department (OTPD) reports that Justin Alan Warner, 26, Oscoda, sustained non-incapacitating injuries when he crashed the car he was driving into a parked vehicle.

BURLEIGH Twp. – Jeffrey Allen Clark, 30, Whittemore, was issued a citation for disregarding a stop sign, which led to a crash in Burleigh Township on May 10.

AuSABLE Twp. – Two men from Detroit, ages 45 and 25, were recently lodged in the Iosco County jail, pending arraignment on two felony charges of possession with the intent to distribute heroin and cocaine.

OSCODA – A press release issued by Oscoda Township Police Department (OTPD) Chief Mark David reveals that an illegal marijuana grow operation was discovered at an Oscoda residence.

ALPENA – The Michigan State Police Alpena Post is warning residents about an IRS scam that has surfaced again. 

BURLEIGH Twp. – The Michigan State Police (MSP) responded to a single-vehicle crash in Burleigh Township on April 18, at 6:55 p.m., which left the driver with incapacitating injuries.
