WILBER Twp. – A Tawas City man involved in a single-vehicle crash on Sept. 1 was taken to the hospital and, following his discharge, was lodged in the Iosco County jail for allegedly operating while intoxicated.

EAST TAWAS – The cause of a small, outdoor fire in a wooded area of East Tawas is undetermined. The incident was called in at 1:59 p.m. on Aug. 24.

OSCODA – Minor injuries were sustained by Patricia Kay Deornellas, 21, Lincoln, during a single-vehicle crash which occurred on Aug. 18.

TAWAS CITY – Kristopher Charles Webb-Lippert, 36, Hale, is facing one felony count of breaking-and-entering, and one felony count of resisting/obstructing a police officer.

GRANT Twp. – A National City woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance, after overturning the moped she was driving in Grant Township on Aug. 12.

RENO Twp. – The Michigan State Police (MSP) report that three people sustained non-incapacitating injuries during a July 29 rollover crash in Reno Township.

PLAINFIELD Twp. – The Michigan State Police (MSP) responded to an incident on July 29, in Plainfield Township, during which falling trees struck a vehicle and caused possible injuries to the passenger.

NATIONAL CITY – The Michigan State Police (MSP) are searching for a second suspect, who they say was involved in the breaking-and-entering of a business in National City.

EAST TAWAS – Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is announcing the arrest of Dane Russell Finley, 33, of East Tawas, for possession of child sexually abusive materials and using a computer to commit a crime.

OSCODA – A pontoon was destroyed by fire in Oscoda Township on July 5, with the blaze reported to have originated from a neighbor’s fireworks landing on the boat.
