BALDWIN Twp. – Possible injuries were sustained by Cohvi Elan Moyer, 19, East Tawas, when he overturned his vehicle in Baldwin Township on Sunday.
According to the Michigan State Police (MSP), the incident occurred on Lincoln Road, near Kunze Road, at 8:42 a.m.
Authorities say that Moyer was driving north on Lincoln Road when he lost control of his car, with the vehicle initially going off the roadway to the right. Moyer then over-corrected, crossed the center line and ran off the roadway to the left.
The MSP states that the front end of the car struck a ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn onto its roof, with the car ultimately coming to rest in the southbound lane.
Moyer was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident, and police note that neither drugs nor alcohol are thought to be contributing factors.
The vehicle driven by Moyer – who was not traveling with any passengers – experienced disabling damage and was towed from the crash site.
