OSCODA – U.S. Senator Gary Peters (D-MI) stopped in Oscoda on Monday, Aug. 29, on his first day of his #RideMI Motorcycle Tour. Peters, an avid motorcycle rider, is riding through 26 counties and making 12 stops over five days to discuss his work on behalf of Michigan in the U.S. Senate.
Peters toured Alcona Health Center’s Oscoda clinic and received a demonstration of the telehealth services it has been providing since 2009.
He briefly met with key staff members, who thanked him for coming, emphasizing how important telehealth services have become.
