According to the show’s synopsis, a con man and two ex-convicts are about to meet their match.  They have traced the location of a mysterious doll to the Greenwich Village apartment of Sam Hendrix and his blind wife, Susy.  Sam had apparently been persuaded by a strange woman to transport the doll across the Canadian border, not knowing what was sewn inside.

When the woman is murdered, a plan is set in motion by the con man to implicate Sam. The doll is the key but Susy refuses to give them the doll. A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues. As the climax builds, Susy discovers her blindness just might be the key to her escape.
