OSCODA – The Shoreline Players will be presenting a series of interactive murder mystery dinner theater shows beginning Jan. 25 at their home away from home, The Camp Inn Lodge of Oscoda.

If you are interested in attending don’t let the word interactive scare you. No experience is required, and the actors and actresses are provided.

The show is like a game of Clue.  So, while you enjoy a fabulous meal you will meet the characters and try to solve the crime.  You will work to determine who, why and how the crime was committed by asking questions, observing and of course eavesdropping is encouraged.

All four shows are written and directed by Oscoda residents and Shoreline Players members J.D. and Chris Hock. The first show, A Hunka Hunka…Murder will be an Elvis themed evening. The rest of the season has themed shows including medieval on Feb. 29, pirate on March 28 and comic con April 25. Those attending are encouraged to dress for the theme and join the fun.

A show themed dinner will be served for each event. Seating begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner and the show to follow. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 the night of the performance. Tickets are on sale now at the Camp Inn Lodge for A Hunka Hunka…Murder and include a three-course meal, non-alcoholic beverage and the show.

The Camp Inn Lodge is located at 3111 N. U.S. 23 in Oscoda. For more information on these shows or any upcoming Shoreline Players events you can go to www.shorelineplayers.org or call 739-3586.
