EAST TAWAS – On Wednesday, Aug. 19, the Iosco County Historical Museum will be offering the third lecture in the Lugene Daniels lecture series via Zoom.

The scheduled presenter for the August lecture is not able to come and the presenter for September has agreed to be the presenter this month. Lois Sprengnether Keel will be the presenter.

She is expected to talk about the life of a teacher in a one room schoolhouse. Dressed in vintage clothing she will share stories of the experience of a teacher in an old fashioned schoolhouse.

Those interested in attending the program can visit www.zoom.us/join. The meeting ID is 864 519 729 85 and the password is 1234. For those wishing to only listen, they are encouraged to call 929-205-6099.

Members of the museum continue to be grateful for their 2020 sponsors including Neiman’s Family Market, WKJC, Walmart and the Iosco-Arenac District Library. They will continue to pursue a presenter for the September lecture. If there are any questions email iosco.history@gmail.com or visit ioscomuseum.net
