BALDWIN Twp. – Joseph Walter Huckno, 80, East Tawas, died following a three-vehicle collision in Baldwin Township on Aug. 30.
EAST TAWAS – Three people sustained minor injuries as the result of a traffic crash involving multiple vehicles. The collision occurred on West Bay Street (US-23) in East Tawas, near Church Street, at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 30.
TAWAS CITY – Kristopher Charles Webb-Lippert, 36, Hale, is facing one felony count of breaking-and-entering, and one felony count of resisting/obstructing a police officer.
ALPENA – The Michigan State Police Alpena Post is seeking volunteers to assist with the Angel Program, which allows an individual struggling with addiction to walk into any post and ask for assistance without fear of arrest or investigation.
PLAINFIELD Twp. – The Michigan State Police (MSP) responded to an incident on July 29, in Plainfield Township, during which falling trees struck a vehicle and caused possible injuries to the passenger.
HUBBARD LAKE – On July 18 Michigan State Police troopers were dispatched to an address in Ossineke Township in Alpena County regarding a report of a home invasion and assault that had just occurred.
NATIONAL CITY – The Michigan State Police (MSP) are searching for a second suspect, who they say was involved in the breaking-and-entering of a business in National City.
OSCODA – Jonathon Jerome Gusa, 17, Mikado, has been bound over to Iosco County’s 23rd Circuit Court, for the felony offense of fleeing from police, 3rd-degree.
OSCODA – The Oscoda Township Police Department are asking area residents to be on the lookout for several scams that have been hitting the area.
OSCODA – Danny Joel Gallahar, 39, Oscoda, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after sustaining non-incapacitating injuries during a motorcycle crash on June 17.
