AuSABLE Twp. – An estimated loss of $10,000, between property and contents, was reported as the result of a rental cabin fire in AuSable Township.

EAST TAWAS – Three people sustained minor injuries as the result of a traffic crash involving multiple vehicles. The collision occurred on West Bay Street (US-23) in East Tawas, near Church Street, at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 30.

OSCODA – Minor injuries were sustained by Patricia Kay Deornellas, 21, Lincoln, during a single-vehicle crash which occurred on Aug. 18.

TAWAS CITY – Kristopher Charles Webb-Lippert, 36, Hale, is facing one felony count of breaking-and-entering, and one felony count of resisting/obstructing a police officer.

GRANT Twp. – A National City woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance, after overturning the moped she was driving in Grant Township on Aug. 12.

ALPENA – The Michigan State Police Alpena Post is seeking volunteers to assist with the Angel Program, which allows an individual struggling with addiction to walk into any post and ask for assistance without fear of arrest or investigation.

PLAINFIELD Twp. – The Michigan State Police (MSP) responded to an incident on July 29, in Plainfield Township, during which falling trees struck a vehicle and caused possible injuries to the passenger.

HUBBARD LAKE – On July 18 Michigan State Police troopers were dispatched to an address in Ossineke Township in Alpena County regarding a report of a home invasion and assault that had just occurred. 

NATIONAL CITY – The Michigan State Police (MSP) are searching for a second suspect, who they say was involved in the breaking-and-entering of a business in National City.

OSCODA – The Oscoda Township Police Department (OTPD) was dispatched to a motorcycle crash on Cedar Lake Road, near Loud Drive, just before 8 p.m. June 18.

OSCODA – Danny Joel Gallahar, 39, Oscoda, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after sustaining non-incapacitating injuries during a motorcycle crash on June 17.

EAST TAWAS – The Tawas Police Authority (TPA) responded to a breaking-and-entering complaint in East Tawas, on the afternoon of June 19.
