NINE POINT – Craig McShane of Tawas shot this 9-point buck opening day while hunting in Iosco County. The antlers have a 15 1/4-inch spread and the buck dressed at 140 pounds.Â
TAWAS BUCK – Gary Ulman of East Tawas shot this 8-point buck in the Tawas area on opening day. It was a dressed weight of 152 pounds and the antlers have a 13-inch spread.
BALDWIN BUCK – Keith L. Day of Tawas shot this 8-point buck in Baldwin Township on Nov. 15. The antlers have a 16 1/2-inch spread and the buck dresses out at 110 pounds.Â
EIGHT POINT – Cary Hilbert of East Tawas shot this 8-point buck on opening day while hunting in Tawas Township. The buck has a dressed weight of 150 pounds and the antlers have a 15 1/2-inch spread.
OPENING DAY HARVEST – Zak Zubek of Tawas shot this 8-point buck on Nov. 15 while hunting in the Tawas area. The antlers have a 15 1/4-inch spread and the deer field dressed at 166 pounds.
BUCK POLE – The annual buck pole at Miner’s Grove, East Tawas, was filled with deer last week as the firearm season got underway Sunday, Nov. 15 and runs through Nov. 30.
