OSCODA – The Oscoda Lady Owl softball team was dominant in its season opening doubleheader on Tuesday, March 27, winning the games 13-3 and 18-0.

The Owls plated seven runs in the second, two in the third and four in the fourth, while holding the Hale Eagles to just three runs in the top of the fourth inning.

Kash Johnson had two hits in three at bats to lead the Owl hitters, while Andrea Rousseau picked up the win with four strikeouts and three walks.

Oscoda opened the nightcap with an 11-run first inning, adding seven more in the bottom of the second to pick up the 18-0 mercy win.
