OSCODA – The home lanes were kind for the Oscoda bowling teams on Saturday. The Owls hosted Huron Shores Bowling Conference action at Vista Lanes, and saw both sides take care of rival Tawas Area. 

On the boys side, Oscoda claimed a 29-1 victory over the Braves.

Jace Hulverson led the way with a well-rolled game of 254, Ethan Chase knocked down a 215, Austin Birkenbach had a pair of solid games, getting a 192 and a 196, Cameron Fulton knocked down a 168 and Michael Scott had a 133.

The girls bowled in a bit closer of a game, but still won handily, 24-6. Andrea Bickel continued her strong season with a 210, Colbie Kruse had a 186, Brooke Farlow tallied a 161, Mia Winters added a 146, Paige DalPizzol added a 136 and Cyra Fulton tallied a 100. 

Oscoda heads to Hi-Skore Lanes in West Branch on Saturday for its next round of conference bowling action.
