Oscoda and W-P are the favorites in the team district, with the winner moving on to regionals on Feb. 19 at a site to be announced. Individual regionals are held Feb. 22 at Charlevoix.
“There are going to be two keys to the team district final, which team gives up the least amount of voids and team bonus points (major decisions, technical falls and pins”,” head coach Tony Lopez said. “For the individual district we are working on each individual’s strengths and weaknesses and we will see what happens. It will be a fun day, Oscoda wrestlers will compete to the best of their abilities and we will see where we place.”
