THIRTY YEARS IN
THIRTY YEARS IN – East Tawas Fire Department (ETFD) Captain Randy Look, pictured second from left, received his 30-year service pin at the ETFD’s annual banquet and awards ceremony. Held at the East Tawas Community Center on April 23, several other members also received years of service pins, which are awarded upon completion of one, five, 15 and 30 years, then in five-year increments thereafter. Those who earned their one-year pins were Wayne Snyder, Nathan Abbott, Max Miller, Frank Anthony, Kylie Moe and Trent Fenner. Moe and Fenner also added Medical First Responder licenses to their firefighter certificates this year. Five-year pins were awarded to Mariah Tremlett, who is seen here with the ETFD Officers, and Assistant Chief Eric Abbott. NEW CLUB OFFICERS — The Sunrise Side Republican Women’s Club recently installed their new officers for the coming two years. The new officers are, from left to right, Secretary Sandy Hollabaugh, Treasurer Mary Riley, Vice President Roxanne Rosenfeld and President Jane Hayward.
